Best subs on earth! Great prices, quality meat and the sub rolls are homemade. Went to college in Slippery Rock 37 years ago and still make my trips there for a Bob Sub. (Over 1 hour drive) They also have Bob subs in Clarion and the Pittsburgh Area. If you like subs you will like this place even better.

The one and only original Bob’s sub and sandwich shop. Beware of imitators. Clarion and Any other Bob’s are imposters. No other sub has ever come close to this perfection. I love you Bob’s Sub.

Kind of basic, but inexpensive and tasty.

A staple of Slippery Rock. If you are close by or within driving distance, they have phenomenal subs. They can't be beat. Now unfortunately they are open when college is in since college kids work it but you definitely need to make a trip out to this sub shop and bring your appetite. You may or may not finish the whole thing depending if you get the Giant. But honestly they are a great sub shop in a small college town. You will not be disappointed.

Greatest sandwich shop on the planet period!

The sub was toasted to almost burnt and the insides were stone cold. I expected melted cheese and a warm toasted sub. Nope.

Never got a bad sub from Bob's. That bread is always OH so fresh👍🏽

One of the best places to eat... they have great food there subs are fantastic, they also have a special every week when you buy a sub or wedge you get free French fries, it changes every week you have to ask what are French fries free with that week...

Bread was dry and fell apart with a strong pan spray aftertaste, cold cuts tasted as if the were from the .99 cent bin at the dollar store... thought we'd try something new probably wont waist my money here again...

Best place for subs in Slippery Rock. Great owners and an awesome crew that gives awesome service. I generally don't like mayo on my sandwiches but I'll eat Bob's all day for theirs!

I drive up from Pittsburgh regularly because they are the BEST made subs in the world. My favorite is a senior roast beef. I graduated from SRU so Bob's is home to me!!

A mainstay of Slippery Rock always good but better in summer when not made by college kids.

Reason why there is truly only 1 Bob subs. Dont know, just have to go there and try for yourself.

I highly recommend eating here. The food is amazing and reasonably priced. They have a wide variety of subs, chips, and drinks to choose from. The staff is very friendly and the establishment is very clean. If you have a chance, it is worth it to stop by for a bite.

Good sandwiches! Nothing gluten free.Even though any sandwich can be made into a salad, you need gluten free salad dressing!! That would be better!!

Walking into Bob's sub shop was like a walk through a time machine.... in all the good ways. The whole place feels like a pizza parlour I knew back in 1983. The walls complete the feel with a picture of local high school football team.... from 2014. Plus lunch was good. I had a veggie sub. Stop in as you're driving through town.

I don't usually leave reviews but this place has the best subs I have ever eaten. The bread is perfectly cooked and they definitely give you your money's worth. After my 1st visit for lunch I had to return for dinner. Try it just once and I don't think you'll be disappointed.

This place reminds me of the small country deli shops from when I was a kid. You don't find quality like this anymore. Roast beef / corned beef sandwich sub is highly recommended!

The original and only authentic Bob's Sub is in Slippery Rock. Locals know this place is the best place to get a sub in the area. I have eaten here for over 30 years; the subs still taste exactly as I remember in elementary school. The consistency is astounding. To those that complain: you just don't get it; this is not a corporate soul-less chain. May the one and only Bob's Sub endure!

Awful service. Waited over an hour for our 2 sandwiches ... There were 3 dopey ppl standing there staring at one another, they called in a fourth person, then there were 4 dopey ppl staring at one another ... There's no system or organization ... The subs were just ok, but there was very little meat in them. The worst part was when one staff member pitched a fit and threw a handful of lettuce access the kitchen ... We won't be back.
